Thanks AJC, I have already bought a second hand pair with the intend to rebuild them.
I didn't know the KNS bracket was steel, but I don't know of any other options?
It should still be lighter than stock.

Yes it is. The caliper is extremely light. In hindsight I should have got a local engineering firm to make me some light aluminium brackets.

My advice on rebuilding them; dont bother splitting the capiler. The bolts are f'ing tight. I stripped them out, sand blasted, painted and rebiuld with new stainless pistons, new seals, boots and hardware.

I'd recommend speed bleeders too

Actually, you are correct. Had them machined and just did another track day with no issues.

The CP8350 caliper in our Essex Sprint and Endurance Kits uses a 3/8"-24 bleed screw.

Performed as expected - i actually could brake later now before entering the corner - got to get use to the extra braking power - thumbs up to a great caliper and rotor i cant wait to use it again at the track

i wonder if there is an alternative for brake pads for street use after driving on the track my ferodo DS2500 is squeeling lol

Looks great, and glad they got it done for you!

Hawk HPS is quieter, but they don't feel nearly as good.
