@JRitt speaking of rebuilds, will you have parts for the Formula kits on hand as well?

I concur with this assessment. That is a classic heating/expansion, cooling/contraction fracture. The discs get hot and expand, then rapidly shrink in cooldown. The car was probably sitting between sessions when someone heard a "tink!" The metallurgy in a generic OEM replacement disc just isn't designed to handle that type of stress.

Yes sir. We are ordering spare parts to have on hand for any brake kit we sell. We'll be able to rebuild and service them in the same manner as our Competition Systems.

Australian, Australasia, Asia-Pacific customers please read.

We've had quite a bit of interest in our Competition Brake Systems from both retail and wholesale customers in Australia. Moving forward we will be working with AP Racing's official distributor there, Comp Friction. They have been involved with motorsports for over 15 years in region, and we are excited to be partnered up with them. They will be holding Essex Sprint and Endurance brake systems in stock, along with spare discs and components. They will also have our Essex adjustable FT86 harness bars on the shelf, along with some other bits and pieces. Having parts on the ground in Australia will provide the best possible support for our customers in the region. Our products will be available with short lead times, reduced shipping costs, and local professional technical support. If you're in the region and interested in our products, feel free to contact Comp Friction directly, or we can get you set up with them. As always, thank you for your continued support and interest in our products.

Does that mean we are still stuck with AP Racing themselves in the UK

I'm just about sold on the Essex kit, just need to work out some wheels or spacers, for my very limited non-track mileage.

My Sprint Kit arrived yesterday!! Woooo!! I'm not sure I want to put it on my car; I just want to look at it, maybe fondle the components a little. There were a couple of hiccups getting it to Australia but Daniel at Essex Parts went beyond good service to get things sorted. It was a pleasure doing business with him.

Does anyone run the C300 pads on the street? Are they very noisy?

The competition brakes in and of themselves are noisy. Wail like a banshee with some heat in 'em!

It'd be worth asking @Racecomp Engineering what pads Myles is running, as that's the only car with the Sprint kit I've been in.

Congrats. I think Dave has the S100 and said they are good. I believe Mike CSG sells Carbotech street pads and looking at there track pads rep, they should be good.

Personally I'm on Hawk HPS. They are just like OEM, no noise or dust.

I personally love these calipers because they have so many selections, possibly more then OEM sizing at cheaper prices
