I plan on installing the fronts at least once I get the sprint kit Will have to figure out how to swap them in a Subaru, hopefully I can just swap them on the car without removing the hub.

Iirc Moto-San have already swap the studs out & made it "sound" easy... but of course he always make it "sound" easy lol

You can on every other Subaru I've seen.

I would use ARP over RaceStuds. But those are certainly the only two companies I would use.

A couple people have asked for my feedback on the sprint kit after a weekend at the track. I'm travelling, and will eventually get more data on my blog, but here is the short version:

short version is the following:
brake bias is very similar to stock. it has a little more forward bias than I would have in a racecar, but I'm running XP8s in the rear and the C300's in
the front. This is likely a bias that most people will appreciate.
Coming off the oval I was used to the back end being loose under
threshold braking, and it wasn't in this car. So either I'm not
braking late enough, or the clamping force in the rear could use a
different pad. It engages the ABS seamlessly. Probably the best ABS
system I've seen in a stock car with aftermarket brakes since the S2k in a sub 100k car.

I didn't have any temp paint, but the rotors didn't get frosty white
like the stock ones did. Pad swaps are a snap (obviously).

Turn is feels awesome. I didn't drive it back to back with a stock
system, but from memory, the front end seems a lot more lively and
communicative than it was before because of the loss of weight.

Best,
Matt

Good feedback. I'll have rotor and caliper temp paint/strips on mine for November I'll post pics of the results.

I will be running C300 front and rear though. I do have XP8s for the back of the car as well but I'll run the AP pads F&R as suggested by Jeff.

Thanks for the feedback Matt! Glad you enjoyed them so much on track.:happy0180:

Just an FYI. If you are interested in taking advantage of one of our pre-order deals, please get your order in by this Friday. It's looking like existing orders will start shipping early next week. Once the orders start shipping out, the pre-order offers are no longer valid. Thanks.

Update. Existing orders for our kits will start shipping Monday or Tuesday.

Also, if you're thinking about a Sprint System, our first production run is almost sold out. We only have roughly 6 or 7 sets of Sprint brackets and hats left. We're going to manufacture more, but it will take several weeks. If you want them soon, order now.

Very awesome, I'm hoping I'll have it all installed before I head to Laguna Seca for a track day mid November. That track is brutal on brakes, will be a great workout for it

So looks like 5-6 track days is the limit on the stock system. A buddy cracked both front rotors and blew a front caliper seal this weekend. He's an intermediate driver, and has either 5 or 6 days on his set up with an aggressive track brake pad.

Ouch, blew the actual seal? (Just confirming we aren't talking about melted dust boots, based on your experience I'm sure we aren't but didn't want to assume ).

That's more than I got out of my rotors. Mine have about 50% of the face "delaminated" (for lack of a better term) from the rest of the disc. Never saw that happen before in 12 years of tracking/racing cars.

Any idea what his temps were? I wish I had paint on mine to get an idea He made it back to the paddock without damage I hope?

Mine is currently not being driven until the new brakes arrive
