"Flight" surgeon is more of a position title then a job description.

I know what a Flight Surgeon is and does, and that he will have a flight suit, and wear it on occasion going about his assigned duties, and at some point will most certainly be on flight status. Canada might be different.

Then again, it is the AF, so who knows these days.

Well my info is sort of dated but spending much time on air bases for both countries I don't think I ever saw a Flight Surgeon in a flight suit. Maybe they do now or at least when deployed.

My family physician is a LTC in the USAFR and is designated as a flight surgeon (so a plaque on the wall of his office says).

I once saw him at McChord AFB, dressed in a flight suit, while attending the promotion ceremonies for a General Officer, that was my client.

He used to give me some "good" meds, just to have on hand, for when I felt poorly ...... he can't do that so much anymore ......

Time to go ....... sneak up on a bowl of oatmeal .....

I must just have always been away from the aircraft when they went out. Not like I fueled every single one that took off (although it did seem like it some days)

I put a Custco (spelling?) on mine and find it's a major improvement over OEM. Cruise control lever remains in place.
