Polish? I certainly have access to that and the tools

Are you going the VHT + clear route for your tails? If so, yep, when you are done doing those we could polish and buff and make them look like rubies! Let me know when you get around to doing them. I could help you find some space, but this winter is terrible so I have nothing really available until spring
Which clear did you use for your tails? I've heard some clear's will react with the VHT. I want to do my tails right away but am unsure of which clear is best to use.

BEST clear to use is automotive clear but that requires having a spray gun, mixing it etc. I used the same clear that is made by VHT.

VHT is not the BEST route for painting, it is the cheapest and quickest. Over time (years) The quality may fade, some say it could crack (this is less verified) but in "YEARS" I will be buying toms, onto another car, who knows.

Thanks, I will look for the VHT clear. I'm not worried about it fading or cracking down the road. I will too eventually upgrade to aftermarket tails but for the time being these things are hideous with all that chrome!

When it comes to those rims, the answer is always yes. The front lip looks like one of the STI variants. Jp will probably know.

Yeah it's an STi inspired lip as mentioned. Could be the poly version from JP or the ABS version from Bayson R

I believe everything should be sealed on our cars, most new cars have sealed electronics.

As long as you don't hold the pressure washer 6" away from your engine, you should be fine. Spray it down with a degreaser, let it sit for a few minutes, then rinse it off.

Do you guys bother bagging the battery terminals and alternator when spraying down the engine bay?
