Also looking at a 18x8.5 +42 setup, I just don't know what difference staggering would make.

Should I look at buying local or online, I know shipping can be expensive? Thinking gramlights or rotas, probably not going to cheap out.

What will I need to do to fit a setup like that?
Thanks for the help guys

I'm running a staggered setup right away. 18 x 8.5 front and 18 x 9 rear
Purely for looks! A square setup would be more functional if that's what your after.

BTW I have a WORK XD9 18 x 8 square setup in the classifieds if your interested. Mint wheels and rubber! Save hundreds off new price and duty plus shipping as these are all expensive. Let me know if your interested.

No black option for the Borla tips. I am having mine " blued ". You could probably get them powder coated. The powder should stand up to the exhaust heat being that far away from the headers and engine....

Hope to get my car out of storage end of April

Anyways i was looking to get some local advice on a couple things, im currently looking for a catback exhaust, rims, and front lip

Now for the rims, what size and offset would you recommend (im thinking 18's and little bit wider) and where would be the best place to buy aftermarket sport rims as these would be my first pair. What sort of coilovers should i go with?

Also does anyone make a black/ matte black painted exhaust tips? I know Perrin used to but im not too fond of their sound?

Who has painted their headlights black? Any luck? Im scared to tackle that one

I know its a lot of questions but any help would be great
I figured I would plug in my $0.02.

I'm also buying new wheels, 18x9.5 +38. With coilovers they'll fit fine but I do believe something that wide would be rubbing with stock struts. WHat is your aesthetic goal? Stance, fitment, functional? Figure that out and then it's easier to narrow down your options and give better opinions.

I know FT86 Speed Factory has their own V1 axle back where the muffler and tips are powder coated black, I sense a murdered out theme here... I also recommend talking to IIDutch (Jason) as I believe he baked his headlights and painted them black.

As for coilovers, again figure out what you want to do. I'm on BC Extreme Low's and for dailying I have 0 complaints about them. Maybe some AutoX guys do but for me they're fine on Circle Drive so they work for me!

Also, on facebook join the SK86BRZ group. It's a bunch of owners(25ish) from Saskatchewan and it would be awesome to see everyone on this forum on there!

Great thanks for all the input, I'll make sure to join the Facebook group I'd love to do some meet ups soon.

I think what I'm aiming for is only slightly lower, and wider but not flush, but maybe close (don't want to ruin my paint). I don't plan on putting my car on the track, at least not this year. And yeah definitely going for a darker look and I think the painted headlights look so nice on all colors.

How wide is flush for a BRZ/FRS?

Anyone recommend a shop in saskatoon that would do a quality job installing a JR. super kit and supplied tune?

It's not necessarily the width as much as it is the offset, it seems like anywhere from +40 to +35 can be flush.. Check out the wheel directory for ideas and suggestions, lots of great stuff in there!

I remember using Speedtech back in the day when I had my Lancer. Not sure if they offer tuning ?

offset is certainly what matters for being "flush". So does your ride height. Depending on ride height and other settings, you can get different offset wheels to matchup beautifully

Yeah. I was thinking Speedtech. I know the owner from dealings at work. Just wondered if there was a more " car " oriented place. On a side note, I picked up my car today. Sales rep stated that the first oil change is now at 10,000 Kms! New for 2015. Not 1000 miles. He also said that it had a special break in fluid in the oil. Any input on this?

Never heard any of this, do the first change at the dealer if it is free with warranty

Also, potato

Change your oil at 5000km and live worry free...

Also I'll be running a 17x9 +10 after my adapter should be a lil poke. Going to run a 225/40 to make it seem more flush then poke
