I asked this question a while ago in the detail thread and the only place that anyone mentioned that is an opti-coat rep was in Swift Current. I plan on road tripping this spring.

In other news. My car is waiting for me to install its new parts! (and the roads to melt)

- Beat sonic shark fin antenna
- JMD GT86 clear side markers
- 6000k matched SMD leds for side markers
- JDM GT86 Fog light bezels
- Subaru Forrester fog lights
- Grimspeed hood struts
- UN-install Airaid CAI. Back to factory

Also need to change my oil and replace the filter. I wonder if Scion offers the first oil change for free?

I was thumbing through the service manual the other day and I believe there was one page indicating that the first oil change was taken care of by Toyota. I'll have to find that page again.

I contacted the local dealership (Taylor Automotive) and they do cover the first oil change so I will be stopping in there come spring.

Well I made the mistake of taking my car out of hibernation and driving to Edmonton for the weekend. I was caught in the snowstorm yesterday driving back. It took me about 4.5 hours to get to Saskatoon from Lloydminster!! Those stock Michelins and ice/snow do not get along. Luckily enough I kept her between the ditches.

Also, while in Edmonton I parked in my friends underground parking, the ramp to get in there is very steep and I lost some paint on the underside of the front bumper!

My car is covered in snow/ice and is now needing a paint touch up!

End Rant.

You're a brave man! Yeah those stock tires are absolutely useless in ice and snow. Amazed you made it to Edmonton and back on them with our brutal winter weather

I'm just noticing I have it too. Also scratches on the outside of the drivers window from either the weatherstripping or a guide inside the door.
