If you want more camber while staying close to stock suspension, you can always use both the 16mm and 14mm camber bolts in your front struts. That should get you close to -2 camber, if not more. If you add camber plates on top of that, you should be able to get more camber without the stock suspension hitting the fender wall unless you max out the plates.
If you are planning to get a stiffer suspension, you are better off getting aftermarket suspension with camber plates rather than springs, dampers, and camber plates (cost of this will relatively get you close to entry-mid level suspension). The dampers will be valve to match the spring rate it has so less chances of you figuring out if the parts will work together and you should be able to get ~-2 camber or more easily. I would probably recommend RCE Tarmac 2's as they are made by KW but to RCE's specs for the platform while adding Verus's camber plates to it (A bit costly of a setup but both will have great support behind them). After fixing your camber issue, I would then recommend getting stickier tires and doing a proper alignment. Most people will recommend starting with ~-2 or more camber front with 0 toe, ~-2 or less camber in the rear with about 1/16 or 1/32 toe in and working from there. Then figure out the little small stuff like sway bars afterwards. |

Actually RCE Tarmac 2 is one of my favorite coilover at the moment, cause they seem more track oriented (but not extreme), i can buy them without camber plate and add them later (less money and more configurations to test, and kw camber plate are good quality, recessed and cost only 250$ in europe). I'd like to know if kw europe will rebuild them but i think i can send an email to racecomp engineering directly to get the answer
On the list right after rce tarmac 2 there are ohlins road&track & bilstein b16, but they are both single adjustable, need more/different spring (not progressive) and eventually a revalve and need camber bolt for camber (less adjustability than kw with slotted strut). One big plus about them is that local support is awesome for both brand Tein are good, i rode on a car with flex z and ride quality was very good and only a little bit soft, but i'd love to try a car with Flex A or better Monosport cause they are rebuildable like the others mentioned before. Rebuildability is important so that i can grow on them while new and they can grow on me when it will be time for a rebuild ![]() Inviato dal mio LG-M320 utilizzando Tapatalk |
