Do NONE of you guys drive your cars in the rain?
In Just a matter of a few hours today I drove through heavy rain, dense fog, freezing rain, sleet, hard granular snow and ended up going through heavy blowing snow.

For what it’s worth I was originally referring to going on a drive in the Santa Cruz-ish mountains. For very fun driving.

I don’t mind normal driving in the rain with my brz.

Hahaha I just put a lot of effort in to keeping things like the wheel wells and undercarriage clean. It’s more of an OCD trait I got from my dad.

So driving in the rain or wet makes that extremely difficult for me haha

To be fair I am selling this car so I guess it shouldn’t matter but I do appreciate when a potential buyer comments on how clean my wheel wells are...

Was it ok after you got to the end of your driveway?

Hmm. Actually, let's just meet up on the peninsula and caravan. Can just do La Honda some other time.

What about meeting up in/around Foster City and taking the San Mateo bridge and 880 up to Alameda?

Foster City would be the first place that comes to mind so I'm fine with that!

Almost happened that fast. Was 57 and raining heavy at 6:00 am when I left. When I got home at 3:00 pm it was 19 with blowing snow. I drove through freeing rain, ice chunks, light snow, heavy snow, blowing heavy snow and within a 1 hour drive home. Apparently two tractor trailers slide across the highway and jackknifed about 5 minutes after I passed the transition into the heavy snow. If I had waited a few more minutes to leave I would probably still be sitting in the middle of the highway.

Sounds like the start of a Grateful Dead song.

That was 3 winters ago. They were on for a couple of months after my wife gave to to me for Christmas. I have "forgotten" to put them on every year since. I just like that pic because it is pretty much the norm for 3 months of the year.
