those look like the grazo tails. But you could tint or spray them to look like that.

also i highly recommend using a hot knife or soldering iron under the vanity gaurd, and dremel the rest. And be careful where the gasket goes. I bent the rim where it sits a tad and it let water in...had to take them back apart clean and reseal, plus make a better gasket.

Looks real good on whiteout!

Are there pictures for the inbetween steps? It is kind of hard to visualize what I need to do with just writing.

Sw20kosh if I sent you my taillights could you do this for me? I'd be willing to pay a good price for these! I'm not very good at this kind of stuff and really like this rather than tinting them. I also have a raven black fr-s

There is a guide in the diy section of the thread. On my phone or id link it for you.
One guide is for soldering iron and one guide is for dremel. I highly recommend that you only solder under the vanity gaurd. The dremel is wayy faster.
Also i found that with the silicon sealant it was hard to seal it properly. So i used 3m window weld. Glopped it On and then used a piece of metal to smooth it out, let it dry and repeated.
This isn't and overly difficult mod as long as you patient and careful. To do both tail an the heads it probably took me around 40hrs, but thats including drying times and reassembly.
And if you mess the lenses up at all, get and of the silicon or window weld on, meguiars plastx works wonders!
Goodluck!!!!

The stock gaskets should be replaced regardless. They are crap....
I am considering using weather stripping around the vanity
bc i made gasket and siliconed them down. No water in the rain when sitting still, but if im driving i get a little
Toyota dropped the ball with the design of this area imo.

I do the same for my news aftermarket tails lights....don't want to have condensation in them...

Yah. Im considering weather stripping around the lid of the trunk or around the vanity gaurds to make it water tight. I made the new gaskets but when driving at speeds above 45 in the rain i stillget a little moisture in my driver side light.
