Agreed, but what looks good and what's legal in a state that issues you 2 plates don't really gel, so if you have to mount it, might as well mount it properly and not in a way that overworks your car.

Radiator on this thing is rock solid, losing ~12 square inches of direct flow isn't going to overheat your coolant, even on track.

Stock-ish powertrain of course.

This ^. You lose far more cooling power by slapping an oil or intercooler unit in front of the rad but nobody seems to worry about that.

I'd argue on the oil cooler that you've got a net increase in cooling capacity since your coolant system has to take less heat out of the oil/block with the additional radiator working for you.

But totally agreed on the intercooler.

Good thing the coolant system on this thing seems to be very well built.

Still losing cooling capacity through the rad. It is just balanced by the cooler oil.

Sure, if you pay my tickets and cover any legal fees for repeat offenses, I'll chuck it right now.

I had no idea it was legal anywhere to not have front plates.

You'd get done in minutes here in Australia for not displaying a number plate without good reason.

Even if it did "overwork" your car, I could not stand having a plate not mounted in the center.

Same. My OCD (for lack of a better description) for symmetry gets triggered with off centre number plates.

It was a requirement that it was perfectly centre when I got my car.

Me as well. In fact I even went and bought a nice new frame so it would be pretty.

Proper mounting does put it in the center...of the bumper cover, where it's meant to be, not blocking half the grille.
