I've been listening to Trance for a few years myself and I still haven't been to a live show in person. I'm really looking forward to this.

You haven't been to a trance show yet!? It's magical...

I wouldn't consider the new stuff from Markus Schulz to be magical trance so keep that in mind.

If you want that stuff you need to got to a Above & Beyond, Cosmic Gate, Dash Berlin, ATB, Gareth Emery, etc show.

I'm a big fan of Markus. Any of the sets I download and listen to are just massive, imo.

GDJB was amazing today. <3 most of the new songs on his album. Especially Triotonic! That choon is going to be a new favorite once it's released.

What I meant by "magical" is like upliftingish trance. His is darker.

TBQH, after listening to his set at ASOT 500 at Miami, I was kind of disappointed by his live sets. Perhaps that was a one of kind of thing.

That's the only one I really heard of. I'm sure his others are better, but I just haven't had the time to find them and download them.

OMG I AM NOT ALONE? awesome. lol

I started to dabble in trance, which led to progressive trance, uplifting trance, then dubstep... all in 2008(yes dubstep was around back then... but hugely unknown). Tiesto was a favorite of mine, then I started to listen to Armin van Buuren, then got into electro house, now back into dubstep, drumstep, liquid dubstep (dubstep has gotten SOOO much better) and I started DJ'ing out curiousity.... I rock virtual DJ lol. I met a DJ or two, and they seem to like my transitions... but I still have to work on the rhythm portion.

here's a recent mix of mine... its electro house with a lot of inna

Please take this as no offense, but most people have dubstep as the gateway genre and then progress to > electro > progressive house > progressive trance > trance > uplifting trance.

You seemed to have gone backwards my friend.

I also hate 99% of all dubstep. Maybe it's just the dubstep scene that's so horribly bad.
