Really interested to hear your thoughts on the sphericals and diff inserts. I was looking at doing the same in the near future.

Total transformation! The car feels night and day different! Let me know if you'd like any guidance on exactly what to order.

I'm interested in learning more about what the spherical bushings in the UCAs do?

Also curious what problems the toe arms, traction arms, and endlinks are actually solving individually.

They all allow more controlled articulation without binding. The toe arms allow toe adjustability outside of just the factory allowances. More precise. The traction arms allow you to control anti squat, and endlinks again allow adjustability of firmness as well as free articulation.

Thanks for that. What would you say is contributing the most to the improved feel and traction in the rear?

I ordered the whiteline subframe bushings and diff insert bushings. Just trying to figure out if I would benefit from anything else once I'm in there.

You're on stock sways, correct? Are you adjusting them at all?

There is a fair amount of play in the OEM UCA bushings. Stiffer inner RUCA bushings or a new UCA with spherical ends will make a huge difference. An adjustable UCA also has the added benefit of not changing toe when you adjust the camber. a new RUCA is expensive, bushings are cheap but a PITA to install.

Biggest change is from the solid subframe and diff bushings. They raise the subframe as well as make everything solidly mounted. That means there is no slop in the subframe translating to a way more controlled rear end. The car is way more responsive to throttle, steering inputs and adjustments while cornering. There is not binding in the suspension either which allows the dampers to work much better and more precisely.

I would skip the whiteline stuff and go solid mounts if you can. The nvh gained isnt enough vs the amount they change the handling. Maybe don't go solid diff bushings like I did as the gear whine is very noticeable on the street. I don't care about that, but others might. Salasko racing has awesome bushings at a very reasonable price as well as SPL.

I am on stock aways and I havent messed with adjustments yet as I just got the car back and haven't tracked it yet with the new setup. The first thing I'll play with is changing the shock mounting position to adjust the motion ratio.

I'll hold off on installing them. Back to the drawing board. I love gear whine, but I don't have a sense how it really sounds in the car. My transmission insert added quite a bit in low gears, but I imagine solid diff bushings are way more hardcore that that.

the few Adjustable rear UCAs that are out there are either from crap companies or are very expensive. the way i did my UCAs was to buy used low mileage ones from 541Motorsports which buys wrecked cars and parts them out. i bought the cusco bushings and had them pressed in. i have a great shop near me that is super cheap to press bushings in with a really awesome hydraulic press. id be happy to set anyone up with my setup by having all the work and parts ordered by me and shipped since i have a connection to a shop that has done these before.

its mostly noticeable at cruising highway speeds. i like the sound, but i can see how others wouldnt. let me know if you need help sourcing anything or having bushings pressed in. as i stated above I'd love to help by receiving the parts for someone who needs the bushings pressed in and having the work done and shipping to them.

I don't do any real highway driving with the car, so that's not a problem for me really. I'll take a look at the SPL and Salasko stuff.

Could you PM me a price? I'm not even sure what the install would look like, but I'm interested.
