It is hard for me to get weekends off. I work in the restaurant industry so that makes it difficult.

I hate to tell you this, but if you plan on modifying your car to be a "track ready, monster", you're going to need more than OEM-sized rotors, pads and stainless lines.

I agree but I'm not going to invest in $3k brakes before I get more track time under my belt. I do, however, need to upgrade my brakes before spending more time on track.

^Smart choice. Few understand that most sports cars can just upgrade the rotors and pads and be quite good for a beginner since the caliper itself has the stopping power.

IMO a set of legit track pads alone would be more beneficial on the track than everything he bought. I strongly disagree with your statement, "...since the caliper itself has the stopping power." Put in a garbage pad with the best caliper around and your car won't stop well at all, especially when things heat up.

I don't think you can build a "monster" by staying NA. Celek is trying years to finish his engine and it is still work in progress. There are already some commercial stroker kits, but it will cost you A LOT. What is the purpose to build a modern version of the AE86 N2? These were old days and now they're gone. Either we like it or not the only way to go forward nowdays is to go with FI.
