Enough time to figure out the car and figure out I'll probably be in STX next year. Maybe a little dramatic but I don't like the car at my home site, at all. Will probably re-evaluate after Crows Pro/Tour.

Someone is selling MCS singles for $1,500 in the classifieds section. Those would be a great purchase for future STX plans. haha

Not a bad choice. It'll interesting to see how SSC does at Marina and Stockton eventually, though.

So many runs you're bored of the car already? Dang! ha

I wouldn't say I'm bored of it. It's perfectly fine at asphalt sites. And it's fun, too.

It's just, if I'm going to spend 80-90% of my season at Crow's Landing, I really don't want to spend it on the bump stops with tires that will give up grip so easy. And they wear just the same as real tires.

It's miserable trying to guess which side of the car is going to bottom out first.

I posted on the SSC facebook group, but any ideas on why there is such a discrepancy on front camber. I can get at least -3.4 on the driver side and maybe more, but can only get -2.5 on the pass side. SPC bolts tabs and whatnot oriented correctly. The factory crash bolt moved to the top hole.

One person suggested engine subframe.

Also, will anyone at Dixie have a scan tool?

I'm not sure about the camber issue, but the BT OBII I use for solo storm works as a basic scan tool and we're going to Dixie.

Awesome. Would that let me do the steering calibration thing?

I'm not sure. I have not attempted to recalibrate on my car. (But you are welcome to use it and see if it works for that)

Well, got numbers more evened out. And the wheel is straight and those lights are off. I just gotta get wheels in the mail today, get tires mounted, and I'm good to give Dixie a go.

As far as subframe, I really haven't seen anything posted on people moving it. I know that S2000's have ID holes, but these don't really have anything like that?

Spec Twin?

Just read April issue of Sportscar Magazine. There’s an article about the SSC build that states you may have to source a 14 mm OE bolt for the top front strut mount as the factory bolt is 16mm. The kit did not come with the 14mm bolt right? The article is referring to the OE crash bolts right?

Very handsome chap in that article. Actually, I think you just put the SPC bolt in the bottom hole and the bolt that was in the bottom hole, in the top. We were a little confused as the car previously was DS, and we weren't sure what was in there originally.
