As per the latest update, looks like cat-backs are allowed but restricted to stainless steel (no Ti).

I'm thinking that may have been to further narrow the choices to TR supplied options...

Well that makes this a really tough choice for me and makes it so I'm probably 90% staying in D-Street... I didn't wait 7 months for this damn titanium exhaust to arrive (literally just got here) only to never get to use it.

Well my Borla is apparently illegal because the sound control is in the midpipe...no muffler after. One of the quietest aftermarket exhausts. Damn.

Nameless Muffled Track Pipe

I ordered the muffled track pipe from Nameless 2 weeks ago for DS next year.
https://shop.namelessperformance.com...-pipe-brz-frs/

Would it be legal for SSC?

Quote:
The muffler and midpipe (as shown in the figure below) may be substituted provided the system exits
the car in one or both of the original locations.
o “Track pipes” and “straight pipes” are not allowed.
o Materials are restricted to steel and/or stainless steel.
o The midpipe must include a functional baffled resonator.
o The muffler must include a baffled or chambered section with a minimum length of 5 inches.
o Material for cosmetic exhaust tips is not restricted.
- It exists in one of the original locations.
- I'm not sure what their definition of a "track pipe" is.
- It is stainless steel.
- I would use the OEM midpipe.
- There is a 5" muffler, I am unsure of its internal construction.

Just checked TR and they are selling wheels under the SSC spec class with less than 43mm offset.

Guess TR is still working with the original 40mm rules. Wonder how many sets they sold...
