A few more pictures centered up. Still contemplating pushing it back 3/4" or so. Looks like Vorshlag lower mounts will still be able to be used with new engine side mounts. May need to modify passenger side lower mount. Will definitely need to clearance driverside valve cover, and make room in the center of the firewall for the DI pump, and electrical connections If I push it back the 3/4".

Keep up the great work. This thing is going to be bonkers. What's the intended use?

Just building a car 100% the way I want it built as a hobby to have fun. I'm thinking about 1mile events when it's done.

I tacked up a lower passenger plate to build the passenger side mount on, and made a couple of big ass holes in the trans tunnel and firewall. Trying to find chassis center on firewall and center on the back of the engine to get everything aligned.

I have it where it's going to sit. Using the lower Vorshlag mount on the driverside. I will be building the upper mount on both sides, as well as the lower mount on the passenger side.

The stock crossmember is not going to work with the LT4 manifolds, and cats. Looks like I'm stuck in fabrication mode on this for a while. Going to get the manifolds, and cats on so I can come up with a plan to get everything in. It's going to get interesting. Looks like I will be redesigning the mounts as well. It's to bad because the Vorshlag mount kit was nice.

I cut down a stock FR-S crossmember for testing clearances. I also received my engine harness. I will post more pics soon.

I bolted in the cut down crossmember. I also test fit manifolds, and catalitic converters. I need to trim a little more material from the crossmember to get the cats bolted in. After the cats are bolted in I will have to see if the steering rack will fit in it's original location, or if adj. will need to be made to the steering setup. I plan on needing to make adjustments to the steering. I will post up pics when the cats are on.

A little more clearancing on the crossmember, and transmission needed to get a perfect fit. Hopefully tomorrow.

I got the cats to fit. Next is to fit the steering rack. Once it is fit I can build the crossmember.
