I've been told the reason they aren't going smaller with this wheel type is that it gets too busy and compressed and just doesn't look right with that geometry. 5:AD knows their shit when it comes to aesthetics so I'll take their word for it. You can even see it in the 20" on the concept going down to the 19" production version.

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to drop in and keep everyone up to speed on production for the pre-painted FIVE:AD Scion FR-S aero kits/spoilers, along with deliveries for wheels as well. We have been working around the clock to stay on-top of both pending and new orders for all parts FIVE:AD is offering for the Scion FR-S. Needless to say, it has been a very busy last few months. To those who are still waiting for either aero kits, spoiler or wheels, we truly appreciate your patience.

For the delays we have encountered, we have worked very hard to respond quickly to ensure that we can maintain shipping parts, while also ensuring the parts received by all FR-S owners are quality. As mentioned in this thread, the paint matching process for a handful of the aero kit/spoiler colors was our first delay. We worked closely with Scion corporate to ensure that the color match was correct for all colors. Those waiting for Argento, Firestorm and Whiteout orders have had the longest wait, as these colors took the longest to finalize.

Also, we have also updated our FIVE:AD Scion FR-S Aero Kit/Spoiler installation instructions. There are many Scion dealers ordering aero kits/spoilers around the US that are new to our dealer network, so we have taken the time develop more detailed installation instructions to ensure that installers have all the info they need to ensure a correct install. We will also be filming an installation video soon that we will be sure to post to our YouTube channel.

For those waiting on wheel orders, we have stock arriving this week and next, which should fulfill all outstanding wheel orders at this time.

Our overall goal is to ensure that both Scion dealers and owners receive a quality product from FIVE:AD. If anyone here has any questions regarding parts they have ordered and have yet to receive, do not hesitate to contact us at info@fivead.net. We will be happy to provide you with the most up-to-date information we have regarding your order. We have been doing our best to keep in close contact with all dealers that have ordered parts for customers, but also want to ensure to let everyone know that we are working hard to fulfill all orders in conjunction with dealerships.

On behalf of everyone at FIVE:AD, THANK YOU for the support we have received from so many FR-S owners and enthusiasts. We are just as excited as all of you about the FR-S and look forward to seeing more of your vehicles on the road with FIVE:AD products!

Thanks good to know! I wonder how the 18" would look though... Might have to just go for the 19s love these wheels, really suit the car.

Does anyone know how much the 19" weigh?

For starters, we're truly looking forward to seeing more photos in this thread for sure. As tnt mentioned, we have received a lot of orders in a short period of time for both the FIVE:AD FR-S aero kit/spoiler, as well as FIVE:AD wheels for the FR-S. We are working around the clock to produce and ship out the kits/spoilers as fast as we can. For wheels (and lowering springs), we are receiving shipments for product every week or so and turning them around as soon as they arrive.

Also want to touch on the fact that we have been working with digital_assassin on his kit/spoiler and confirmed that there were issues with the install. We are currently working with his installing dealership to resolve the issues. As he stated, and as we explained to him, it is very important that the installing dealership align the parts properly on the vehicle to ensure proper install. Since we cannot physically be at each dealerships for installs, we need to rely on dealer technicians to follow the instructions and cover every step. If the install is rushed or steps are missed, that is when problems occur. If anyone has any questions regarding their kit/spoiler, please do not hesitate to contact FIVE:AD directly at info@fivead.net. We are here to help.

For now, and to inspire those patiently waiting, here are some images of completed Five Axis Edition Scion FR-S':

Thanks again for the support everyone!
I hate red cars but I have to admit - the FR-S with the body kit, wheels and tails red'd out look ABSOLUTELY amazing! Will still likely go for a White FR-S or WRB BRZ, but that Red is really sharp. Nice job fellas.

I don't think I've seen an Argento yet. That would be super cool if you were the first. Five:AD will get it right on the color and six months from now when you see all these other aftermarket kits on Argento being horribly mismatched you will realize it was worth waiting for Five:AD to get it right. Mark my words. Gonna be lots of Whitout, Argento, and Firestorm aftermarket color fails.

I just want my wheels! lol

I really didn't anticipate driving around on the stock wheels for this long. 17's are small and ugly, and I can't even drive around on the Prius tires without making it sound like I'm trying to spin my tires.

Right! People that are scared to upset the "fun" factor by changing out the garbage tires are brainwashed by all the hype. I can't wait to hit a corner with some proper grip and then get it a little sideways when it's pushed harder. The tires on it now are sketchy at speed on some on ramps which is embarrassing. It's fun to break the rear loose but not with another car along side of you.

Yeah the ramp stability is laughable

Looks clean Twiggyb, just even a mild drop and you're set. Please don't over do it with the orange lugs. Then there will be orange valve stems, orange interior lights, orange everywhere. And I think the silver caps look fine. imo.
