We did a dyno day recently with 15 86s. They didn't run it the best, so torque curves seem kinda off. But based on what we saw, I'd say Flex-Fuel kit with a tune is best bang for the buck.

OH! I would love to do Flex-Fuel someday, but first major mod I might do is JDL UEL Headers + 2.5 Perrin Cat-back Exhaust with a tune.

Very true, honestly I'm not holding back with this build. Of course it won't happen overnight, but that's the fun part of it.

I think your 350hp goal is good anything more is really a waste on the street. still you are looking at 10 to 15 grand to build a car that will last. probably closer to 10 if you go s/c 15 for turbo setup. it can be done in stages if you go s/c and you could still buy some upgrades that will work with a turbo. something to consider when for your build is availability of good e85. if it was me I would go buy a e85 tester for 20 bucks run down to the closest e85 pump and test the quality of the fuel. it could range anywhere from e50 to e95 and that will make a big difference on your build..

Glad you agree with a 350 WHP goal. Personality I feel if eager for a 500 WHP range, that's like supercar territory. Love a balanced / reliable build. I never thought about doing that E85 fuel tester. I'll look into that ASAP, where can I buy this tool if you mind me asking?
