Someone just freakin keyed in my brz

Such a glorious day for some a*hole and keyed a nice stretch of my passenger side. Im pissed! 😒
By searching on google, looks like its only the clear coat as when I washed my car, it disappear but then reappear when its dry. I could feel it thru my nail, but not that deep (thankfully). It from the booty till the passenger door.

Can this be fixed by buffing it out or better to wet sand it and buff it out?

Yep, looks like some scratch remover will mask it so as you won't notice it.

With a good compound and polish on the area, with a machine polisher I think you could clear up SOME of the damage not all, but make it presentable.

Good grief, that's ridiculous. But especially in Canada, and Nova Scotia to boot! I always assume you guys are much more civilized than we are in Trumplandia...
