2014 Whiteout FR-S Monogram. 30k miles. Derped a bit
+ 2017 HPFP (No crickets)
+ TRD body kit
+ RS1.0 TRD exhaust to go with said TRD kit
+ Perrin intake tube / noise pipe delete

vs

2017 Halo 86 Edition 860. New.

+ Nice tails.
+ Chassis upgrades.
+ Backup cam
+ about 1 inch ground clearance from lack of kit.
- Front catfish bumper
You should get a BRZ with the PP its a better deal for the money

I wouldn't. The "crazy deal" never is really as crazy as they would like you to think since they are making money somehow. If you have the car the way you want it why start back at the start for a couple of very minor "improvements"?

I have a Monogram and there is no way I would trade for a new 86. Maybe a BRZ with PP if the price was right though.

<-- canadian means no PP for the BRZ unless I get the edition Yellow. Which is yellow.

You guys are all right. I just needed to hear it.
I'll still got and entertain the guy, just in case. hahaha

A local dealer had an 860 on its site, but it is gone now. They were advertising the "Pure Price" just over invoice.

Personally, I'd just get a BRZ Limited without the PP. TrueCar shows the market price of $27,543.

At that price, you get everything the 860 has, minus the special color. Add in the PP to the BRZ and you might still come in under the 860.

Second this. I physically went to a Toyota dealer and spent 2 hours jumping through all the negotiating hoops for an 860 (which they had 4 of on their lot), and the price was still higher than the quote I got on a '17 BRZ PP after a 5 min phone call. I really like the 86 facelift design, but not enough to pay more for it.

The one they have is in white. No orange overspray! But yeah I can imagine the salesperson trying to explain that one.

That isn't overspray. That is custom blending of the two available colours and cost an extra $200.

Hi guys!

Feel like I should jump in here since there's a lack of photos and people willing to provide a variety of information that own 860's.

I purchased a Halo White 86 860 Special Edition a couple months ago and have been touching it up here and there as time goes on. It's a very nice color in person, I believe the pearlescent white suits the car well. The black accents also compliment it and I actually like the front bumper, unlike most people on this forum apparently.

I negotiated for ~$2k off MSRP and I absolutely do not regret the purchase. It was originally $3k-$4k more than a base model 86 so paying an extra $2k for what is essentially a premium package along with a "limited addition" appeal seems very worth it to me, and I do not regret my purchase at all. Still stock as fuck, but I plan to change that within the coming months.

Cheers.

Yeah well... I failed.
I made the mistake of driving the '17. It showed how my 2014 aged.
Dealer worked out a nice deal.

It will be delivered next Tuesday.
