I like the plasti-dipped emblems as well. Been thinking about doing the same with mine. Looks really good on the back with the tinted tail lights.

I can see where your coming from on this but like i said they look real dark in the picture but in actualality you can see right through them still. They only have a light haze to them i will try and get a better picture.
But thanks for wishing that bad luck upon me...

I don't wish that on anyone, so I honestly hope your right about the pictures.

I have seen people with tinted tails get rear ended because the drive behind them could not tell (on three separate occasions) and I tend to give a little more space when following someone with them. Think of it more as me being concerned for your safe and not wishing bad luck.

The car looks good, fuel cap isn't my personal style but I think it fits the look.

I think you'll be OK with the tail lights; they're LED and should be plenty bright enough when illuminated, plus you've got the third brake light which isn't tinted.. Just make sure the amber turn signals are bright enough and you're good to go.

I gotta say I'm not liking all this carbon fiber vinyl lately. To me it just screams "I'm too cheap to buy the real stuff". I don't care for the look of exposed carbon anyway; I'll be painting my MR2's hood and trunk lid as soon as I can afford to paint the whole car. BUT it's your car and if you like it, that's all that counts!

I agree i never saw myself having any trouble with them, people i know usually tint them solid black where it looks like they just painted black right over them.

P.S. I am hoping to replace the front and rear blinkers with LED's just havent looked up the bulb sizes yet.

You should wrap the side mirror housing with carbon fiber as well so it matches. or even the part where the emblem is on the sides, that would look cool.

I like what you did with your car! Personally, I think you went a little too dark on your tint, but it certainly looks better than stock. I plan on doing a red-out on my tail light (while maintaining a clear signal marker) once my car arrives. Your CF gas cover actually looks great, same with your emblems.

I want to order in the dark/bronzed toyota emblems for my Asphlat too. I should get to ordering them.

Here is a shot with just the headlights on so you can see the tailights are still extremely visible.
