These days real ventilation isn't usually added unless it actually serves a purpose. Too much aerodynamic and efficiency lost with open vents and what not. For that reason Faux vents are added to make cars look aggressive but are totally covered. The vents in the STI concept pic from above look more real than fake, but who would know unless really. If real vents on the STI mule from above any type of additional cooling might be behind it.

The vents are obviously for the side mount intercoolers for the twin turbo setup, you fools.

I will say the same I did in the other threads on the subject.
This is a commonly called "TRD" so why expect more for a "STi"?
