For what it's worth I'm running 245/40/17 BFGoodrich Rival S 1.5 on Enkei RPF1 17x7.5 (48 offset) for my autocross set and they are handling pretty dang well. Running in the top 5ish PAX and will be higher once i learn this car and the tires better. Planning on getting some Federal 595 RS-RR's to replace the Primacy's once they get worn down all the way, looking to go 225/45/17 in them since they seem to run about a size wider.

What size spacer are you using the get the RPF1s to clear the brembos? I think I'm just gonna run PSS (225/45/17) on the factory wheels this season while I get to know the car. I bought my car equipped with winter tires so I didn't have to deal with the Primacys. But next season I think I'm gonna get a dedicated autocross set so I don't have to worry about tread wear on whatever hot cheater tires are looking good.

Just as a point of reference you may want to pick up the latest Grassroots Motorsports magazine (May 2017) they just happen to test the the very same three tires that you have mentioned here. They tested the Mich and Conti max summer tires and used the RE71R as a control tire because it is the best autocross tire at the moment (pending an official head to head with the Rival S 1.5). I got my issue in the mail last week so it should be showing up on newsstands soon.

Cool, I'll stop by Barnes and Noble on the way home.

A 5mm spacer gives me the same clearance the stock wheels have.
