It's still a concept. Also, an observation I made looking at some of the photo's from the show of the FRS is that the seats seem to be fairly low judging by where the headrest peaks. I'm sure the car will be roomier than what most expect, especially with Subaru taking the lead on R&D. Subie's are generally pretty roomy cars, even for guys my height (6'4"). The compact Boxer engine allows for more interior room than a larger conventional engine setup.

If this car is roomy . . . well lets just say the biggest downside of getting such a small car has been eliminated. If Toyota nails this, it will be a hit!

Put some official FT-86 II Concept sound clips to some photos of the Scion FR-S concept. I'd expect that the sounds should sound extremely similar.

They are. Once I saw the first concept, I was sure I would never own a Veyron.

I'd never own a car that requires paying up enough money for a whole new car just to have the tires changed.

I don't get how they can release the sound if nothing is official yet. Or does this mean they already have it done and are just waiting?

These are just sound clips taken of the FT-86 II Concept car, not from any finished official production model.

So they are like "concept" sounds? IE; "This is what we want the car to sound like!"

No, they are simply sounds of the MKII concept car. Toyota has not said or printed that that is the ideal sound they are shooting for or anything to that effect.

But, if the mechanicals underlying the FT-86 II concept car are close to the eventual production car, then it's a safe bet that the production car will sound similar.

They do have a version that they have tested at Nurburgring so it isn't like they don't have a working version of the car to get the exhaust note from.
