I liked the MKII from front till about half the door. After that it became hideous and looked like a chic with big boobs and no ass. The Subie render above is a Butta-face chic. Everything looks good but her face... lol.

MKIII has the right figure though. The chic with S shaped body. The red looks like a plush lipstick on a fine woman.

Has anyone noticed the taillights on the trunk? How the heck are you gonna open it?

I was thinking that if the taillights stay like that for production then it could be a liftback. That would be sexy.

I don't really like the taillights, and if it were a trunk than Scion would have to split them .

Yes. You aren't (don't expect them to stay that way on the production version).

I expect them to either have a slit in them like the Camry, or to manouver around them when lifted. But the latter is not likely.

Wait. How would you get rid of that emblem on the steering wheel without actually taking the whole thing off? o_O Cuz.. I'd like my airbag if I were to get hit by a truck or somethin'. JUST SAYING. lol

enjoy~
Perimiter Disk Brakes seemed to be Buell's meal ticket. They tried to reinvent the wheel sort-a-speak with the perimeter rotors and inverted calipers but you can still reduce the unsprung weight with 330mm floating rotors and lighter (Marchesini forged magnesium) wheels. Thank goodness there is no longer a Buell brand but since HD bought out MV Agusta, they might tap back into the sportbike theme.

As Ichi mentioned, that was Axis's work and production with not see the wheel n brake combo.

Further, the SCION is dedicated more to the track day racer/drifter, with the FT-86 more towards the daily driver/sport model.

So what remains to be seen is how will the Subaru version be engineered and marketed.

Will it be somewhere between these two, or will it be placed at either end of the spectrum?

Subaru(watered down FT-86)~ FT-86 ~ FR-S ~ Subaru(supersport FR-S)

Any guesses???
-----Personally I like this CG render the best of what we have seen so far on the net including that yellow monster which looks way too much like the SCION version. Of course we do have to chuck those ugly rims though!!!
I think there are going to go with Scion for the US/Can markets and Toyota for the rest of the world, then a Subie version. The Scion/Toyota model will probably look exactly the same and have the same specs minus the badgework. I wouldn't even be suprised if they toned it down a bit with the exterior styling once it hits production.
