It might be in my head but with the inlet tube I feel like the throttle was maybe a bit more touchier. I know combining that with the K&N I should feel a difference for sure, reading reviews on the KN alone i've heard you can feel a bit of a difference. down the road I might switch to Cold air intake but as of now thats the route. I paid like $70 for my hose from Perrin's shop on amazon, i'd recommend getting it. it's a little touch to the engine bay that looks awesome and its cool to remove that clunky sound tube
Thank you. I have a 2017 86 and I'm waiting to see if there will be any specific products for it. Getting tired of asking "will this fit on my car?" all the time

I'd give it time, the 86 is such a beautiful car, i love how aggressive the front looks compared to the BRZFRS

Thanks, I think so too. Doesn't seem to be popular with most people though.

I think with time people will appreciate it more. In my eyes the 86 is a mashed together FRS and BRZ. what color did you get it in?

Red! Had to be red, I think it was the launch colour and it just looks so good in it.

I considered doing front and rear on my old wrx just because I had a hit and run (two separate occasions) on both ends. I figured a tow hook would have at least put a hole in their bumper cover. Still never would have known who did it... But its a satisfying thought.

The BRZ is getting cameras haha.

I feel like leaving a two hook installed just increases the amount of damage to your car in the event of a minor bumper tap. instead of having a small scrape on your bumper, you're gonna end up with a bent subframe member( or whatever the part is that the tow hook screws into...)

So I ordered my KN from Advanced Auto Parts locally a few weeks ago, they never gave me a call and I'm going to have to check in on my part, they were supposed to call me when it came in which was meant to take a few days. I called the other day and they had no clue who I even was

I got this sick sticker though How has everyone been!

True depending on what hits you. But then again, I was all about retribution every time I got scraped in the WRX. In reality I haven't bothered with hooks.

Though when the BRZ gets a little track time, I'll pick up a set.

Going to keep the hook in my trunk for track days, didn't think about the potential frame damage.

Last post on here was ages ago. I apologize! A few awesome mods have happened to the car though, and I'd love to share in a decent post so here we go.

Originally I had purchased the PLM Muffler delete as my first exhaust option for this car. I loved the sound but not the drone. I had to have the car serviced under warranty so to save myself from any headaches I went ahead and removed my muffler delete. I just decided to sell it at that point and buy something new.

I wasn't crazy about the idea of spending a ton of money on an exhaust so I went with something relatively close to the price range of what I spent on my first one. The exhaust I decided to go with was the Spec-D (K2Motors) Catback exhaust system with the standard non burnt tips. They were having a sale on the normal version of this system for only $200.00 Brand new, versus paying almost $400.00 for the same exhaust with burnt tips.

I hopped on it and I'm extremely glad. here are a few clips of it. The exhaust itself is modeled exactly after the Invidia N1. First clip is from the outside, second clip is from the inside going through a lil' tunnel.

Just a week or so ago I got around to installing some Black Edition Valenti's and they're awesome.

The only other two things that I have done / have lined up for the car are the Semi-Smoked Helix Sidemarkers and the SubiSpeed Flappy Paddles. I installed the Flappy Paddles the other day but havent gotten around to the sidemarkers yet. I don't have my own photo of the paddles but here's one from google. Mine are in a gunmetal silver finish.

Sorry again for taking so long to update this, feels good to be back.

Hope you read, and if you did drop some feedback! Thanks everyone.

Just contacted a wrap shop today, going to see if it would be cost-effective to have my hood and the fender garnishes wrapped in Carbin Fiber 3m.
