Yes, that will work.
For God's sake, don't just tap into the high level speaker wires and connect it to the low level inputs of your amp! You'll cook the amp and probably start a fire.
As suggested, use molex connectors if possible for a clean, easy to undo connection. Make sure you fuse the power wire to the new amp as well.
Do not use your teeth and electrical tape, ever!

hahahaha I'm not one to use electrical tape and wrap open wire. ill use beans and splice the wire before that I did use these http://www.autozone.com/ignition/ele...uestid=1925470
and they worked damn fine and I've gotten her all hooked up. thanks again
