First accident in the BRZ...yay 2017

So this just happened. Was at a stop sign. Saw some big pickups dragging trailers coming in to the parking lot where i was stopped at. Backed up to give them room as they were pretty big. First two cleared my car just fine. Last truck came way to close and scraped my bumper and broke off the left side of my splitter. Makes it even worse is my Dashcam is shipping to me as we speak, and the lady's husband and son-in law was trying to "prove" to me that she didnt hit me. Unfortunetly no witnesses and in retrospect i should have called a cop. The lady did admit fault to me however with enough convincing from her family i feel like her story to her insurance will be different. However not looking for insurance help or anything as i've taken care of it.

So here's my question. because the splitter broke off i might need a new bumper correct? Unless someone knows a way to fix the bottom part of the bumper so that the splitter can screw back in? Or maybe a shop? Part of me is hoping that her insurance pays out the cost of a new bumper plus replacement labor costs and what not.

On a separate note. Anyone have a bumper to sell? If they pay me enough i might think about doing an FRS front conversion and just paint match it.

So yeah...that happened. And then i went home and played For Honor and proceeded to cut off the heads of my enemies.

That sucks to hear. Should have called a cop, live n learn. If that splitter attaches to where I think it is, I think you'll need a new bumper, but that also tells me its not that great of a splitter lol. I'm sure you'd be able to find a WRB BRZ bumper easily, one of more common colors.

I believe a shopping cart either went astray or someone intentionally pushed it towards my car while I was at the movies (parked in an open lot because the parking structure was packed). Needless to say I had a pretty visible dent near the bottom part of my door and some scuff marks which I have yet to buff out.

Shit happens I guess, but it's always sad when stuff like this happens. One of the reasons why it is very difficult to have nice things and more so to keep nice things nice.
