Mine's squeaks inconsistently, any suggestions for narrowing it down if it's a throw bearing or just something else?

Took it to dealerships, obviously they were useless.

I have a '14 and it squeaks inconsistently too. But the squeaks happen when the engine is off. So I assume it's not the throw out bearing if the previous post is right? It squeaks when it is depress but not out.

Just do it, even if you replace the slave cylinder it will only take you 20 minutes to fix a problem you hear every day of your life.

If you hear it even when the car isn't running then it's the clutch fork that actuates with the clutch pedal. You can fix it yourself with some grease.

If you only hear it while the engine is running then as suggested before it could be the TOB or something else and you should have it inspected.

So rig up a wd40 sprayer like the IC sprayer on the GD STi for when the tmic starts to heatsoak. Squeek, press the button again

That's a good thread. Have a look at this one too. It takes a different direction which may be closer to your issue.

I'm a bit skeptical of the conclusion only because I haven't personally experienced it. You know how that goes.
