The run groups are self-identified, so many novices signed-up for intermediate, and many intermediates signed-up for advanced. More than half of the events I went to had car crashed, and that cutted everyone's track time short. Last month there was a brz t-boned into a spun-out STI, and the brz was totaled while the STI suffered significant damage. I saw many people in the advanced group couldn't even hold their lines... Just be careful.

Sounds worrying...

I did see one event recently have 73 cars over three groups...sounds crazy!

FYI...

I bought the helmet from Black Armor through the TNIA website. The policy states that the cheek pads can be exchanged for ground shipping costs, but Black Armor stated that as the helmet was heavily discounted on TNIA, that the exchange information was wrong and that cheek pads would cost $40 to be replaced.

This sounds like a blast! I will definitely be signing up with my friends, I've been reading up on it. Just came here to see what everyone says about it!

Update: SCCA got involved and I had them exchanged for free.
