Any aerodynamicist's here? I'm not one, but I'm willing to bet a buck that having a lip and a spoiler defeats the effectiveness of both, not to mention looking stupid. Who does that?

I repeat!
Anything that fits the bumper must be made new. The new will not fit the old.

2013 -2016 TRD lip

2017 TRD lip

Wrong in what way? The new TRD front will not fit the old cars and vice versa. All the rest will still fit. I fail to see what was said that is "wrong" on this thread.

The point isn't for aero.

The point is, the car in the video (at Mega Web in Odaiba Tokyo) shows what TRD offers for this platform. $23k worth of possible upgrades and the engine is still stock.

In the video I shot, there's a list of products and MSRP at the 1:55 mark.

There were no changes on the trunk shape for 2017+ cars.

Thanks gents. Now I just need to wait for someone to do the install to see if it fits with the new oem holes without having to drill new ones.

I am guessing they won't. In fact I am not convinced it will even cover the old holes!

I'm trying to find a lip/duckbill that can cover 2017 oem holes. I guess this TRD one is debunked. There isn't much info regarding the 2017 spoiler unfortunately whether or not the holes are consistent with previous gens or not. Or maybe I'm just looking at the wrong places.

They are not even close to the previous gen spoiler holes.
