It's not an iPad. It's not a TV. It's a HUGE investment for the average person. I don't expect Toyota to go nuts and send us all hookers and gold but they should do SOMETHING symbolic to make us feel good about buying a very iconic, niche, vehicle like this in year 1.

if you want to relate this imaginary debt based on risk, you would owe toyota more than they would owe you. they spent millions taking a risk building a car that most would consider a luxury in a rough economic time and you only spent 25k. i dont think that is the case though. they offered a product and you bought it, thats the end of the transaction.
