Whether it's a coaching change, a different wing man for Durant, Durant to mature a bit more, or a combination of those, they need something they don't have right now.

Westbrook to stop throwing more baskets than Durant (31FG attempts on the last game... WTF, and he only made 10!)

Gotta pay respect where its due. Jordan was the one that transformed the league. He was ahead of his time. Unparalleled athletic ability with a ridiculous will, incredible work ethic and belief that he was better than everyone...

He would do whatever it takes to carry his team to victory.

Sorry, but credit give was earned....

He's in my top 4 players with Russell, Wilt, and Kareem....what other credit does he deserve? Imo Lebron will be the 5th player to join the foursome, but because of differences in Era you can't say one was better then the other.

You cannot penalize a player because you don't like the era in which they played.... Jordan is clearly the best player of all time. Yes all those mentioned are up there in Mt. Rushmore, yes I agree Lebron can join them, but Jordan was a step above.

Everyone calls Kobe clutch or says he has that killer instinct "because he takes the last shot," well, look up the stats, he's not good at doing that because the shots he takes are bad attempts (he is the best bad shot maker of all time), but yet that is the legacy he has.

Comparing to Lebron who will make the pass to the open man if its better then him shooting, in basketball the right play is always better then a bad shot, yet Lebron isn't clutch. Tell that to the 07 Pistons....Lebron has raises his game like every other great player.

I loved the era Jordan played in, I was a kid at the time, but as I've gotten older I've realized the personal biasm. What made Jordan a step above? From 1988-1998 the league added at least 6 teams, I believe more actually, this waters down league talent depth and the quality of each individual team. Jordan had the best sidekick in the game in Pippen (top 5 nba player) so he had a a stacked deck like everyother superstar laden champion. The media loved Jordan, and didn't critcize him post 1991, today it would be very different.

Killer instinct is the view of being a selfish player. That's exactly what I was getting at. Does it make them a better player. Nope. It just shows that the player is willing to take it upon themselves to always want possession and not giving a damn what everyone else wants them to do.
Something that Lebron doesn't have yet or is slowly getting at.

Why do you think Kobe or MJ are mostly considered assholes or still are? Cause they're selfish. The two of them want the ball, want the last shot, they want the glory, they want to be better than the person before and next guy that dares to attempt to challenge their legacy.

Nothing against anyone being a team player and being smart about passing up a shot for a better one, but when does it end? I've seen it countless times before when people pass up on their shot and so will the next person. At some point someone has to be selfish/confident to carry the load of the team whether they succeed or fail.

That's why the majority of players, fans, and media still mention "killer instinct."

Actually I would say that is exactly what Lebron does. You/fans want him to take a bad shot, he makes the pass which is more likely to go in....
Not to mention he's taken plenty of game winners. Slowly getting at? See 2007 when he brought the worst team ever to the finals.

Kobe and MJ are assholes, because their assholes, not because being an asshole breeds "killer instinct." Youre just repeating media rhetoric and are sounding like Skip Bayless, king of the trolling idiots.

I see no way that you can say Lebron doesn't want those same things, he just goes about playing the game a smarter way, simple as that. If Lebron was passing up game winners and giving the ball to covered individuals you'd have a point but he passes the ball to wide open people because the entire defense collapses onto him, shooting in that situation is STUPID.

lol @ jordan playing in a weak era, yet Lebron has played in the Least his whole career.

Not to mention fairly different rule sets now a days compared to then.

Think malone, barkley, ewing, mutombo, the dream, etc. would let these guys drive the lanes like they do today? Don't think so. At the very least they would be thinking twice about doing it.
