I turn 65 tomorrow. I can't fit our children in the back seat but they have their own cars. Some of my grandchildren have their own cars. They can sit in their own back seats anytime they like. My wife thinks i'm crazy but that has nothing to do with my hot lava FR-S.
She may me right. How would i know? I make her ride in the back seat. Not really. Oh yeah, i work. Well i have a job..........

60 in May. Telecom. I thought long and hard about buying it, but really love this car. Have had it now for 3 weeks. 800 miles on it. You can call it an older age crisis or whatever you want. I have babied it for the break in period, can't wait to really see what it has. 2015, Asphalt, auto. Green filter in already, plan on Perrin exhaust and intake tube as funds allow. Great forum!

New to the board. 44 years old (act about 21 when it comes to cars lol).. Pre-sales storage engineer. USAF Vet from Desert Storm and Strike.

14 year old daughter learning to drive (not the FR-S!) and a 22 month old son.. Wife wants a bigger car, I tell her to drive the Challenger!

The FR-S is by far the most fun car I've ever owned. Just love it.

An oldie but goodie

I am a 63 year old retired business executive (1st career) and high school math teacher (2nd career). Also an amateur musician that has to carry a large brass instrument in the car (tenor tuba) to 2-3 rehearsals and a concert most every week. The trunk in the FR-S is great!

I purchased a manual transmission 2015 Aquamarine FR-S with TRD exhaust and intake, upgraded stereo, fog lights, and rear spoiler. I traded in a 2012 Yaris SE with manual transmission, TRD sway bar, and a few other upgrades. I love driving fun cars (my toy is a '55 Chevy Pickup hot rod).

The FR-S is an emotional replacement for my last 2-seat sports car (1975 TR-7) that disappeared from my possession 1 month after the marriage ceremony in 1977. I had to leave my wife at the airport after we got married because wife and luggage wouldn't fit. That car was GONE faster than you can imagine! But she always promised it would be replaced whenever she didn't have to deal with ferrying kids anymore. Now was the time.

Since I live in the greater Boston area, I just purchased and installed my -1 sized winter tires from TireRack. Wish me well, because this is my daily driver.

P.S. My wife is stoked because she gets to drive the FR-S to knitting group where one of the other members drives a Miata. She can now be as cool as her friend. So this just goes to show the young members of this group that old timers can have fun too!
