My back! Rostra Lumbar support?

The pain in my lower back is not going away no matter what seating position I try. I have tried them all trust me. Thinking about adding this to my seat Rostra (250-1454) ComfortSeat Lumbar Support System after randomly finding this video.

[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e96Fw1lda-Y"]Custom lumbar support FRS[/ame]

What you guys think is it worth? I don't want to add a pillow because...well it looks ugly and I don't want to feel that old

Also where would you tap to power it? I am more of a mechanical guy but can solder ok if needed. I turned 30 this year and I feel if I can't get the seat somewhat comfortable I will make an impulsive buy next year with the money I am saving for FI

Being adjustable would be nice but it seems a bit 'gimmicky' to me. Not sure how it mounts. Under the cover?

Mounts between the back rail and the foam. It does sound a bit gimmicky but might just do the trick.

Keep in mind that there is an airbag in the side of the seat so you don't want to interfere with that.

I've suffered from crippling back pain, bed ridden and spasming, from years of no exercise and a desk job, made worse by sitting in cars.

The best advice I can give is to strengthen your core. I did P90X for about 6 months and now I can sit wherever and however I please

Also, have your seat quite upright, like you're buckling into an experience, not a recliner.

You maybe right. My core is not really strong and I have ignored it in favor of curls for girls, chest and legs.

Just grab a copy of p90x ab ripperx. It's like 15 minutes 4-6 times a week. It will kill you for a month or 2, but you will have the core of a demigod.

Or, Matt Furey's combat abs book. Specifically the "magnificent 7", half of which are just breathing techniques that you can do anywhere, including while driving or sitting in a train.

Good luck!
