The FRS did not stop. She hits the car in front before she gets hit. Not hard but she is bouncing back when the one behind her nails her.

The cop was obvious;y dealing with something way up ahead you can see the lights before the crash. He was there within about 30 seonds but probably had to run a ways. The rest were right there so it is not reasonable to condemn him.

Darn. You are right. I just rewatched yet again. I see what you are saying. Had to pause it to see it. I retract my prior comment. Just people not paying attention...

Also, I wasn't condemning the cop, just that he was the last to come over, but to your comment, it happened so fast, 30 seconds isn't that slow. I have personally been in a few situations were an accident or a crime(someone breaking) into a car loudly was heard by a cop and they didn't react until well after they should have.

Ya the cop lights are way up ahead so he had a ways to travel to get there. Probably a classic case of traffic stopped due to an accident causing an accident. Happens all the time.

Did the car in front of the FRS, hit the car in front of them? I don't understand why people don't leave any distance in between cars.

moronic drivers, not enough room for a safety gap or get any visibility around the car in front. Doubtful she even saw the cop car ahead. Just blindly following the car in front. No matter what car that person drives they had it coming.

No not until the one behind the FRS nailed everybody so hard. At least not from the two angles we see it at. Shows how easy it is to flip a car though since the FRS wasn't really going fast after it was hit. It just nicely slipped under and scooped the other up and over.

Sad part is that the traffic had clearly been stopped for a while since it is backed up as far as you can see. There was no excuse but shear inattention on the part of those last few cars. The one that hit the FRS was hardly even braking and pretty much drove into it at full speed. How the hell do you not see a mile or so of stopped cars in front of you?

Holy crap the FRS was just shot out of line and flipped the other guy :o how much you wana bet the first guy was texting and didn't see the stopped traffic and everyone else was just looking at the car in front of them. This is why you should always look as far ahead as you can see when driving

I wonder why the honda driver decided to get over into the lane where he could see there was a cop stopped there?

Who knows. I am sure it made sense to them at the time. There are a lot of things there I wonder why they were done.

The traffic is backed up as far as you can see so would have to assume that it had been that way for a while.

The whole lane just stopped from like 10+ cars ahead. The car in front of the FRS bumped the SUV first then the FRS bumped and them it just kept getting harder and harder hits. That poor girl must of of gotten some serious whiplash. Jerk forwards, then back then forward then back again. Car did seem to hold up very well though. It did it`s job.
