I love my asphalt but I wish I got the friestorm or whiteout cause it seems like the asphalt does not get much love when it comes to body kits.

Already own a black car. Love it. But one is good enough. Red suits a sports car IMO. No regrets whatsoever.

That's actually my car I bought the one from the event.

That way I avoided the waiting period even more ;-)

No doubting your love of the car sir!
LOL.

Hopefully you were the only one who thrashed it around the Yas Marina course. Since I'm not aware of the event other than pics or word of mouth , I can't say if I would had been that passionate to buy a slightly used car. So muchos respect to you.

BTW I got my car delivered yesterday.

Congrats on the delivery

Well I specifically chose the one that was on the water section - it spent the whole week just gliding through the wet pan - so no real stress on the bushings and so on. The ones that did the main track were pushed harder - but nothing too bad. The ones that were drifting continuously for 5 days are probably best avoided though

The first FRS I saw in person was the Whiteout, it looked AMAZING, so was waiting out for one. Then my Dad got a Firestorm and I started thinking well that looks WAAY GOOD too...

My dealer called me and said that they had a Raven. I said I wouldn't deal with a black car as the upkeep can be a part-time job.

But when I saw how the Raven really lets the light to bounce off the paint to show off the beautiful curves of the car, I was sold.

Honestly, every color looks good on this car, giving it a different personality. Don't regret a color choice, your gonna make people rubberneck either way.

Silver or light gray always show off the lines of the car the best.

Satin White Pearl/Whiteout looks pretty good but I am not sure if I would want another white car after my STi. Not to mention Im not the biggest fan of pearl white. Would have preferred a flat, glossy white on the car.

On the FRS, Dark Gray would be my pick. Only because I ever owned light-colored cars.

sorry you feel that way, black is the hardest color to keep clean, but when it's clean everyone breaks their necks. i love mine.

A clean black FRS/BRZ looks better than any other color imo. White is nice too but I wish it wasnt so pearly.

Whiteout was the first FRS I saw in person and leaned that way for awhile, as I came from a black Mazda6 previously. Then decided with horrible winters New England gets, was worried it would be too hard to keep good looking (I am kinda OCD with keeping my car clean as a lot of us are, lol).

Thennnnn I saw the Asphalt the second time back to the dealership and that is what I ended up purchasing, no regrets, I love it !

However, and I never thought I'd say it ... but Hot Lava is reallllllllly growing on me !

I used to be a Black car fan, both of my Supra's were black. I just started falling in love with white on sportscars because of how the white brings out the little details like body creases and panel gaps making the cars look more complex. I literally spend hours in my garage admiring/cleaning my car and never get bored with it.

The other thing that kinda killed my love of black cars is the whole "murdered out" look. It looks cheesy and actually makes the car less attractive in my eyes. Hot Lava, Firestorm, and the blue (cant remember Scion's name for it) also look great in my eyes. The one color I wish they had would be a high gloss yellow...just imagining that with my satin black 57Xtremes with the calipers painted yellow...

Oh yeah, whiteout at night under street lights looks amazing...wish i had a camera that could do it justice.

I agree 100%. The pearl white hides dirt extremely well, but my top three choices were white/black/ and red. I would have gone with hot lava because it will be a rare color and was used for a lot of the original promotional pieces, but the orange/ red clashed way too much for me. I bought a Whiteout because it became available first of the three colors I liked, and secretly was my favorite color anyway. I used to have an 07 STI that was the same color and regret selling it. When I got to order my second car, they gave me the option of getting a new color, but I still went with white.

My biggest question, is why do you have to pay extra for the Whiteout? 3 stage pearl? Isnt the Asphalt or hot lava the same thing?

Oh and Black with some bronze te37's... heaven.

I love my hot lava... Mostly cuz when people say to me " I saw a car like yours at x place on x day! It looked awesome!" To which I respond " By like mine do you mean an orange frs?" "Yeah!" They say. "Then it was me because I've got the only one in the area XD." Win solid win

I will probably buying a black FR-S it's fine? or you think this is to hard to keep it clean?I will probably buying a black FR-S it's ok? or you think this is to hard to keep it clean? I just read your comments and a lot of people say, this is hard to keep it clean ... am very a meticulous by the way.

It's true, Black is very beautiful when it's clean but i never had a black car before. I will trust your comments.
