To double that request above... Please do a DIY, pics, product etc. I'm very interested.

I had considered PlastiDipping my race car but then I heard it was flammable and as it turns out, my skin is allergic to fire. Go figure

Performix (who manufactures plastidip) also makes a similar flexible acrylic coating called HCF that is non-flammable. I emailed DIPYOURCAR.com to see if I can order their "dipyourcar" kit with HCF instead of Plastidip for concerns over FIRE!

Well I was definitely off base... Still well worth it though.

DIY

I will start to put some pictures, products, process and tips together to post this week.

I agree with the wheels comment, black 18"s are ordered.

Thanks for the comments and interest.

This car is a joy to wash/detail really. Its so small and has nice curves with not much room to hide, honestly I'am always surprised its so easy. I wobble on black sometimes also but like everyone said, when its right its the best!

edit* O and like someone mentioned, go ask any dealership and they will tell you black has the best resale, even if banged up they can move black cars faster than any color.

I chose Ultramarine, and though I don't regret going with this color, I'm sad that It shows dust and dirt almost as much as black. If I could do it again, I'd probably go with the same color, but I'd put more consideration into hot lava or maybe even whiteout before I decided for sure.

Sell it and the color you want! I'm sure you can get 20-21K for it.

I picked White Out because of the same reason you mentioned I've always had black cars(Favorite color), blk RSX, blk crossfire, currently still have my blk tiburon gt and so wanted to go a diffferent route but when I do see the Raven I still love it ha.....

I almost got Raven and put NVRMOR on the license plate. But I've always wanted an orange sports car because it's such a unique color. It seemed less practical, but I just had to have the Hot Lava.

Sorry to hear about the regrets. I know the feeling. I'm sure the car is still very fun and maybe in a few months when they become a bit more common and easier to pick up you can trade it out...

I'm waiting and waiting right now for an FRS. Its KILLING me. But I've had the option to buy both a Raven and Asphalt 6MT and told the dealers both times I need to hold out for the Whiteout. I knew I would regret it if I didn't go with what I REALLY wanted.

There is a Hot Lava on base here. Its not a bad color. But I dislike orange. Haha.
