I originally was going to hold out for the Hot Lava, but decided I couldn't wait and got the Firestorm. I don't regret it one bit, I love the sharpness of the red.

Personally, I can't be bothered with a $300 coating. The car will eventually get dinged anyway and the finish should last quite a while without another protectant on top.
good coat of wax twice a year and ya all set! it's really all you need!

I have Firestorm, but I do have those moments I wish I would have gone with Whiteout.

When I met my wife, she had a black MR2. As a daily drive it was always filthy. So I guess you could say after going black, we never went back. That was 22 years ago.

Color wasn't that big of a deal to me, but I was eyeing the whiteout as well, my first choice was blue, but my girlfriend has an '08 Scion TC with the same color blue and I didn't want to be twinkies. I've ended up in the Raven color (mainly because it was the first one that had the MT and basic sound system), which I'm happy with and yesterday a few ladies at my office commented on how "cute" my car is. I just laughed it off, mainly since the black color makes it look a little meaner to me, but it got me thinking about how much cuter the car would be if it were a brighter color, so needless to say Raven is good by me.
