San Diego BBK installer
Does anybody know of any shops in San Diego that have installed big brake kits on our cars? And what model BBK did they install?

Any brake shop *should* be able to do it. Really it's not that hard. It's just a bigger brake.
Heck, YouTube it, do it yourself. If you have the space and tools.

Check out Current Auto Performance in El Cajon. They're a master of the trade type of shop. I can't speak if they've messed with an 86 yet but these guys do full motor swaps, disc brake upgrades and so on. They've always been my best bet and affordable. Might be worth reaching out to them or at least I bet they have a reference for you. Tell them Michael with the '66 Mustang sent you.
