This is terrible. These are suppose to fit and they were suppose to have "redone the design to fit better"

I have the same issue. My oil pan is touching the steering rack. Trying to see how to lift the engine slightly. I am using cx racing mounts with the subframe weld pieces removed like vorshlag. I was able to move the engine back to the 3rd hole on the cxracing mounts, which is about 2-3 inches further rearward. But it involved cutting the valve cover and then using a 90 degree piece of aluminum to close the hole up(clearing the rocker) to clear the clutch master cylinder which was hitting the valve cover. Makes it so I almost don't have to have a gto shifter. I am using a t56 from an 02 Camaro. Hoping I don't have any weird vibrations when running soon.

Here's the pics. Hard to see the pan pic but easy to see the placement.

Yeah I trimmed mine on both sides. It's still super close to the oil pan. The actual crossmember may be hitting the oil pan as well, because there is almost no room. I would say a few sheets of paper haha. They are going to need to supply and oil pan so they know it fits, this is almost unacceptable.

Got the A/C Compressor in! Just needed a slight tweak of the dipstick with a hammer.

What about a sheet metal shim under the engine mounts to lift the motor a touch?

I'm sure the motor twists a bit too under a load.

Intake hits the hood already. The shim would have to be thin enough that I don't think it would be worth it.

Well. I may be looking at pulling the engine and transmission here soon.

The transmission is still leaking trans fluid and I still can't find where it is coming from.

The engine lifters are still really loud and I suspect something is wrong there. I don't have any experience with LS engines, but it is really loud. I will try to get a video of it.

Oil Pressure is also too low for my liking. I just assumed it was okay because engine was new, but that was not the right way to go about it. 20psi at warm idle, was 30psi cruising at 2k rpm I haven't ever really seen it past 40psi hot. I will pay more attention to it today. Thinking it is best to have either Texas Speed Check it over just in case, or a local shop I trust look it over.

Ya oil pressure doesn't look right. I had the same issue with my engine. 19-20 psi at idle and never got over 40psi regardless of the rpm. Turned out to be a spun cam bearing.

Contacted Texas Speed on how I should go about getting the engine checked. The engines include a 1 year unlimited mile warranty as long as the engine is tuned by them.

I've been using the GTO front sump pan for two years now. I get all sorts of vibrations because as mentioned above there is only a few sheets of paper thickness between crossmember/steering and pan. I'm sure my pinion angles are terrible too.

I also had terrible oil pressure shortly followed by spun rod bearing.
Replaced all the bearings and a new crank and I've been getting 30+psi idle HOT.

I was looking into the Canton oil pan part 15-276 I'm hopeful it will have a little more clearance. Do you guys know anyone running this pan?
