@DustinS how much room do you have in front of the crank pulley? I'm going LSA just looking for a heads up on what I may have to do to clear the lower radiator and radiator support.

LSA crank pulley is HUGE. You're going to have to cut. LS3 pulley just barely fits on my setup, clearance is a few mm. Stock hood isn't going to fit either.
Don't give up though, I want to see it done.

Yeah I planned on cutting up the hood for the supercharger

One other option for the front engine clearance would be to see if I could adapt a LS9 front supercharger snout onto the LSA supercharger along with LS9 accessory drive kit. Not sure that would help my front engine to radiator clearance enough.

You will have about 2 1/2 inches between the crank and radiator...if you lay the radiator at an angle and cut out the middle brace...and use the mishimoto radiator. lol That's how much clearance I have... Dustin might have more or less since he used the stock radiator.

From an overall length, the LSA pulley is no larger than the LS3 pulley, which is why you can run an LSA blower with the stock LS3 crank pulley and a longer 6 ribbed belt. GM, with the LSA inset the AC compressor and the accessory drive belt and put the blower drive where the accessory drive is on the LS3 pulley.

IF anyone wanted to gain a little bit of clearance, you can run LSA accessories with the ATI pulley (The supercharger portion unbolts for easy supercharger under drive or overdrive pulleys)

IF anyone wants to look through them, here are photos of my build. I've got an LSA drivetrain in my BRZ. Happy to answer any questions about the process, but please PM me as I don't want to hijack this thread.

Looks like a huge difference to me. Love your build btw, very complex.

Running Full Blown Radiator, Wouldn't trust a stock radiator with a high output V8 haha.

Tilting the radiator and getting rid of the factory latch or even modifying it like CX Racing does is a really good idea. It gives so Much more room.

Been playing with the car more. Spins 2nd, 3rd, and even 4th at times. Think I need to get some stickier and/or wider tires.

I don't mind that kind of discussion here. Love your build. I keep looking at superchargers, but I know they are can be a bit of a pain to keep cool when being pushed on a track. So if I do get a stupid idea to add more power it will probably be turbo.

Thanks I'm working through a few small issues (Got my car as a total. Started with the start button before swap, after swap it won't start with the button).

All of the LS3's that I've played with have had the pulley on the right in this picture from the factory (I've never gotten a crate motor, the motors were sourced from wrecked cars as complete drivetrains)

All of the LSA's have had the pulley in the middle. I don't know what the pulley on the right is from, but if I had to guess, I'd say some sort of corvette LS1/2.

I wanted to go turbo as well. I will more than likely build another one that's L86 or LT4 based and go twin turbo with that one. i've never owned a supercharged vehicle before, so I figured why not.

As far as cooling goes, I'm actually using the AC compressor to cool the charge coming out of the supercharger. People around the world have had fantastic luck with it so I am hoping that it works great for my application as well. As soon as I work the starting issue out, I will tackle the AC system. For now, I've not driven the car more than 150 miles under it's own power since I got it running a year ago (may / june 2016) so I wasn't terribly worried about the blower's cooling system.

From a engine cooling standpoint, I've never had the cooling fans cycle on their own. I sat in stop and go traffic a month or so ago for about an hour and never had the temp gauge even move. The radiator is a much larger than stock one with an integrated engine oil cooler (I liked the fact that it helps warm the engine oil up faster and keep it cool when it reaches operating temp) As part of functional testing, the fans turn on and off when commanded by the GM Scan tool so I know they work. With the subaru drivetrain the fans would cycle on / off about every 2 minutes while sitting there idling, after the car had warmed up. All of my vehicle experience has come from the Subaru world so it's really neat to see differences between other manufacturers.
