I saw that video and couldn't wait to get mine started! So I did last night. Woo hoo! I haven't been able to move it yet, as I cant get the clutch to engage, still some air in the lines. Also, seems that I have a hairline crack on the oil pan.... leak is pretty bad... must have damaged it with as many times I had to take the motor in and out.

Shame I have the oil pan cracked, I was hoping to have my car ready by the time you came to KC, Dustin.

I saw the video of it started! You have about two weeks haha. No shop around to get it welded up real quick? Clutch bleeding was a bit of a pain for me as well. It eventually got there.

I am looking at removing the transmission this weekend if it makes you feel any better. I really need to figure out this vibration, and I am guessing it is in the clutch assembly. Not looking forward to it.

I still have a feeling something might be not quite right with the engine. Had a trip about 45 minutes down the highway, and I could feel a slight hesitation. Cruising at about 2K RPM you could feel a slight "miss" or something to that effect. I am not sure how to describe it. Also as if the clutch had slipped for a second, a very momentary loss in power. Maybe even a misfire. No misfire codes though.

Oil Pressure concerns me, though I haven't really beat on it and been able to watch oil pressure, and I think my oil pressure gauge got dropped or something while we were taking the car apart. So I need to send that to be checked, and also buy new sensors just in case. At 2k RPM it sits at 30 psi. but I accelerate to 3-4k rpm oil pressure barely makes it to 40psi and its super slow to respond. Hoping it is the gauge malfunctioning.

Okay. I have been dealing with a fuel gauge issue. I run out of gas at around 1/4 tank. 1/4 is 10 gallons used currently. What is interesting is that before the swap 10 gallons was "E". I am seeing other people saying that 10 Gallons used is 1/4 on their fuel gauge. Wondering if mine was faulty from the get go, or possibly the early '12 models used a different voltage or something. So even after looking at the fuel pump assembly and not seeing anything wrong. I am going to have to go back through the wiring for the fuel pump and fuel pump assembly. Starting to wonder if my FPR delete has anything to do with it. Would also account for why my fuel gauge didn't work in limp mode.

Once I'm able to drive around I may have some more info on this, but, I just filled the car with I would say 4 gallons of fuel... it was on E when I did this. Now, with the 4 gallons in the car, my fuel gauge reads just under half a tank... so something is working on mine, (I'm hoping), and I did the same FPR delete as you....I did plug my FPR back in though.

New oil pan will be here Thursday. lol I think my issue will be a little easier to fix, maybe. ha

Other than that, bleeding the clutch line is my only other issue...so far.

My oil pressure gauge was reading about 30ish at idle once it warmed up, but as of now, idle is all I know. lol

Hoping this sat everything will work and ill get to test drive it finally.

What do you mean plug your FPR Back in?

Edit: Also I pulled the fuel pump assembly yesterday. 1: Fuel was extremely hot 2: After I purged all the pressure, and was in the middle of taking out the assembly, I had fuel shoot out of one of the hoses. It seemed like the feed line. The interior now smells like gas now though.

In the end I didn't find anything wrong. Going to toss a gas tank in the floor when I get close to 1/4 and see if it runs out of gas.

Fuel being hot, that fuel return life!!

What do you mean by tossing a gas tank in the floor?

Like a 5 gallon fuel tank. To make sure I don't get stuck without gas if/when it does run out.

I put the plug back on the old stock FPR, where we bypassed it and ran power strait to the pump. I just plugged it back in, minus the power and ground... not sure if that clears it up. Also not sure that would have anything to do with your fuel gauge not working.

Changed Transmission Fluid, hammered a little on the 2.5 to 3" merge to help clear trans tunnel, removed aftermarket coolant temp gauge wiring as I no longer need it. I did get the pressure plate bolts replaced. You can do them in the car, just make sure to have a magnet to get the bolt out if they fall out of the socket. It helped the vibration a small bit.

I found the Oil Pan rests on the steering rack a tiny bit, so I will be removing the steering rack and grinding on the pan. I think I can get the stock oil dipstick tube to work with the CTS-V A/C Compressor with a little bending. Still couldn't find the transmission fluid leak. I also have one spot where the transmission hits the trans tunnel. Need more work with a pry bar to try and move the tunnel out enough to clear.

Sucks that you haven't found the cause of the vibrating, sounds awesome though.

I'm sure the oil pan touching the steering rack is part of it...?
