Push the top of the knob and you can shift into reverse.
We've been using one of our CAN relay units to provide the output based on vehicle speed for the reverse lockout.

Had the day off work yesterday and spent the day getting everything ready for sliding the engine/transmission in.

(both were painted black while we prepped the engine)

Now some things I didn't like. No instructions, and no details on exactly where you needed to position the mounts. They are pretty self explanatory, but knowing for sure would have been nice. The mounts don't sit flat, and there was a bit of wiggle room, even with the small bolt at the bottom in. Oh and the 4 bolts with silver washers go on the trans mount bracket. The gold washers go into the body. Didn't notice until I was double checking everything -_-

Engine brackets were easy. Though there is a bit of wiggle room so I left the bolts a little loose so they could be moved to get the engine in.

other issues. Normal LS starter hits bell housing. Bell housing needs ground down. Seems a lot of people are having this issue. Needs to be fixed

Also. Header was warped pretty bad, bolting it down should help, but not what I expected for such a well known company. The driver side also directly hits the steering shaft, so that will need modified.

On the getting the engine and transmission in.

Let my friend borrow my leveler and forgot to get it back before we started this. Not too big of an issue because the radiator and everything is gone, so it's only a slight angle needed.

All was decently okay, nothing out of the usual for putting in a large engine/transmission until around the end. Using Vorshlags images as they are good quality.

*in this image you can see you need to cut a lot of the shifter hole to fit the top of the tremec shifter* - forgot to point out in picture

In this picture, I always assumed they meant for sway bar... Not that is for steering rack. The sway bar cannot be run with the GTO front sump pan, with the Vorshlag mounts. So the Vorshlag sway bar fix will need to be purchased whenever they can get that figured out.

I am sure I will find more things to clearance when I get to look at it again tonight. Also the pedal! Looks like Vorshlag was able to use stock pedal mount, but I am going to have to cut the studs off and make a new plate to mount mine.

Edit: Forgot the good shot

I thought they were talking about not needing to clearance it for the sway bar. What they mean is you don't need to notch it for the steering rack. The pan still hit sits on the sway bar. So no matter what exhaust you run - Vorshlag or not - you cannot run a sway bar with these mounts.

Oh gotcha. So might as well get their headers too since they are already designed for the kit. Or use a different pan or mounting solution. Back to the drawing board for me. Thank you for that man. Info like this is amazing.

Kind of disappointed, but my own fault for assuming things. I also should have known there would be things that would pop up when there is no documentation at this point. Also good to note that the powder coat on my mounts was already flaking off.

The clutch slave/TOB stuff I bought worked well (well the bleed line does, it is SUPER long for this chassis though). The clutch line seems like it will be long enough and work just fine. I just need to mount the master.

edit: Apparently the CX Racing mounts/oil pan clears the sway bar. Though Something with the heater hoses causes issue with the A/N lines on the CX Pan?

Will you be providing one of these for the Twins?

There is also a sikky oil pan that could be a good option.

Almost wondering if I can clearance the stuff without pulling the eng/trans. I would really like to just leave it in there haha. It's been bothering me all day. Going to try when I get home... Raining or not

I can! Like someone mentioned above, the ECU should provide an output for it... Some people's don't I guess.

Man thank you so much for all the documentation!!

Please let me know if/when you try to flip the headers and see where the collector ends at.

Thanks again!!!
