Thinking about just doing a straight up piece of Metal with threads on it like Vorshlag made. Pretty darn simple to make.
Yeah I am hoping my DW Pump is enough. It should be, but you never know. All my fuel stuff should be coming in tomorrow, so I will try and get that all installed quickly. I need to jump the fuel pump and get all the e85 out of the tank. Hoping to have enough line to do a feed and return line. Did you see the Radium Engineering Pump hanger that were posted yesterday? Looking good.

![]() (Click Picture) I'll upgrade eventually. Full system would be over $1000. Not really in the budget at this point. Definitely in the future though.

Yesterday they said Pre-Order. Looks like a full release to me though, so I have no idea. Best to call and ask.
More parts ![]() ![]() Got to about here and realized I still have to test fit, and modify the headers. Need to get the merge cut and a 2.5" to 3" transition welded on (unless I can get 3" directly on the merge). So all this needs removed ![]() ![]() Also, the banjo bolt was a bit too long, I was told to just cut it/grind it shorter. Going to try and find a shorter one first (or wait to see if the one from Vorshlag actually gets shipped out)

Quote from Radium's web site....... "This container is NOT a total solution to fuel starvation, but does improve the fuel supply around the pump(s) ".......At this point they have lost my interest. My dual pump system completely eliminates fuel starvation at the possibility of premature pump failure....And that's a maybe, has not happened yet......Thanks but no thanks.

I didn't see a number but I shot them an email. Looks like their set up uses a single or a dual walbro 485. I've seen that one is good for 600whp and two for more. Since you and I both will probably want more power...looks like a dual hanger in in our future.
I saw somewhere on their site they will be releasing a returnin fuel kit for this as well some time in may. I asked for more details in my email on that as well. |

I'm sure there are some circumstances where this radium setup could be less effective but it definitely appears to be better than the stock setup. I could build a box with check valves around the stock fuel pump housing and have it be just as effective...but this unit looks clean and will save me from engineering my own. You have a pump in the other side of the saddle tank right? |

Also...how would you know if one of your pumps quits? For that matter how would you know if one of the dual radium pumps quits?

I am actually looking at just adding one of their surge tanks. Should actually fix the fuel starve issue.
![]() Edit: Well Transmission didn't go out last week, so that leave "Beginning" of this week. Going to contact them tomorrow and check that everything is going okay if it doesn't ship out today (5 months on Saturday). Any update at all would be nice. At this point, I just want to get it by the time the mounts go out. (Which I am still hoping is early next month). I am shooting to have the car at least running and driving by Import Alliance KC in 9 weeks. The mounts are said to take 4 weeks. Not a lot of time to get stuff finished.

Where does it go? In the fuel tank or outside the tank? I haven't had much experience with fuel surge tanks.
