Did they give you an ETA on when They would send them to you?
No ETA on when I will get them. I did get the transmission it seemed to take a few months to receive It. I pushed back my build until January 2018 due to home purchase. seems as though this is not realistically going to be much of a set back due to parts wait times. I'm feeling better about putting it off the more I read about the wait times. I'm sorry those who are ready to proceed are experiencing these delays though. Not sure why you guys are all into buying the "custom" tremec magnums when the WGP kit works with any T56.

Sure it works and works just fine I bet. I'd rather use the transmission that has the shifter in the right place rather than using a bracket/linkage to get the shifter there. Just a matter of preference.

Yeah I read all about them and passed. I wanted a higher quality product. In my opinion I will be getting just that. I'm going with the product that was developed the way I would build it myself are philosophies are a better match. Vorshlag is my ideal build with heavy documentation of the complete process and explanations of why the did what they did with weights and measures to back it up. They are the original ones to do the swap this way. I'm sure the others will do the job too, just not for me.

Then they are using some kind of linkage on a T56. From what I understand most use a T56 with GTO shifter, which locates the shifter further out. The Magnum XL is the only one that fits with direct linkage.

^Thats not what I think of when I think linkage. The CTS-V shifter... now that's linkage.

Right, anyway, GTO and CTSV use linkage...it's factory and it works fine. Given the choice I'd rather have less moving parts...that's why some of us have chosen the magnum XL.
