I installed them a couple weeks ago, was pretty easy. Also bought a wiring harness because I didn't want to splice any wires.

I used this DIY: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14123

I had Hellas on my STI. I might get them again for the BRZ. The horns I had were Supertones and trumpets. The Supertones give off a shrill, high pitched tone. The trumpets gave off the nicer sound that I had grown accustomed to on cars like: Acura TSX, Honda Accord, various BMWs, various Mercedes-Benzes.

The hardest part of the install: making that wiring harness - 2 relays for 4 horns = my fingers were numb.

I need help

For the wire of the horn to the battery where do you hook it up? The actual battery or to the battery fuse? And + or - side?? The first time i hooked up my audio amp and aftermarket horn was to the fuse and it drained the battery and messed up the shifting assembly and ended up paying 1500 at the dealer ship and the only thing that warranty covers was a new battery they blamed it on the after market parts. Can some one send a picture where they wired the horn to the battery??

this is what launch control is for, haha

I don't even know what I'm reading.

The stock horns are individually fused at 7A. Hellas are 6.5A. Power wire supplies power. Ground wire supplies ground. I chopped my connectors off and just wired in simple spades.

I ordered PIAA 85110 115db 400HZ + 500HZ Sports Horn for both the FRS and the Outlander - dead simple to install.
