I just cancelled my Toyota Extra Care Platinum Service Agreement. (Or attempted to, I'll know for sure in ten days).

After sitting down and reading everything it doesn't cover I realized what a complete rip-off it was.

Platinum covers quite a lot, really. Depends how much you paid for it to be a ripoff, I suppose. My 7yr, 75k mile one was just a bit over $500 on my 4Runner. I would call it a poor value at the end of the day, though, because nothing ever broke on it.

Cleared some icicles then started the car (first try) in four weeks, let it idle for a while then put the cover back on. The streets are too icy and she's too clean to go driving just to get covered in salt.

How long have you had your car? I've been think about trying to get rid of my extended warranty as I'm planning to mod the car anyways

Everything else is stock, so it's just slightly louder than stock since its just an axleback. Go watch a Q300 clip, just not quite as sexy lol. I got it off a WRX club local and had it modified to fit mine. All in it cost me $95. Easily top 3 mods I've done so far.
