Finally got my tires and rims. Enkei raijin 18x9.5 with mpss 255/35/18 . Im lowering this weekend hopefully I'll clear my driveway car is dirty too!

Alright I have no idea what the fuck up with my car's wiring, but I took it to 3 different people so far and no luck!!

2 people on here tried helping me install a backup cam, but no luck. So decided to take it to a professional. Hit up Fusion Teknique in Gardena to see if they can install my cam.

Went in today at 1 and it's 6 now and we still can't get my backup cam to work.

Now I just wasted $100 for him to just wire through my car and troubleshooting the issue... my last place is the dealership, BUT I have no idea what the fuck is up with my car's wiring.. everything is stock except a pre-installed aftermarket alarm I got from the dealership when I first bought my car..

Didn't think I would have to take it to the dealership, but guess that's my last resort.. sigh

(My camera and harness is not faulty, we tested both already.)

Do you have a 2015 w/ stock head unit by any chance?

Yes, it's the stock touchscreen headunit I got when I first bought my car. 2015 FRS

We also tested my headunit by switching mine to a friend who already had his backup cam installed on his FRS, and once we shifted into reverse, my headunit shows the camera on his car.. so it can't be a faulty headunit..

Hahaha I came back to my place like three fuckin times. the 2015 head unit is completely different than bespoke and is weird. They had to tap into some wire to get it to recognize when it was in reverse and solder that into what they plugged in. I don't (obviously) know exactly what the issue was, but they had to call beatsonic a few times (my cam wasn't beatsonic but they still did, weirdly. beatsonic helped them haha, maybe he told them it was). You in socal? I can tell you which place did mine. Owner personally drove to get me tacos and have me some free LEDs and a discount for the time spent, he was a real stand up guy

Do you know how much they're going to charge me? I just dumped $100 today going to Fusion Teknique and came back home with nothing done.. I had to pay $100 because he helped me wired my car already from the back, he just left the cables on the side and say it's just plug and play if they figure out the issue...

Angel's Electronics. Should be an Asian guy at the counter, let him know guy with same car same problem said they figured it out. For me it was like 250 with the cam and it took an an hour or so each try but he said he'd done 2013 frs' before I was just the first one with the new head unit so I was his test case. Now he hopefully knows what to do. Pm me if you have other questions! The place should be near downtown ish, in an industrial area in a complex of similar businesses. Shady looking but dope and very well regarded/reviewed
